IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT?
Yes, you must be at least 18 years old to become a member and basic woodworking knowledge is recommended.
what should be my first step if i want to join?
Your first step should be to visit the woodshop to get a tour. No appointment is necessary, just stop by. At this time, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and see what the woodshop is all about. If you are interested in joining, ask the Foreman on duty to give you a registration form to complete. Your yearly membership fee will be due at that time. Your year begins on the day you join.
is there a fee to become a member?
Effective January 1st 2024 the fee is $120 for 12 months. Payment is due when your completed registration form is turned in.
is there a discount for military personnel?
Active duty military personnel (with proper I.D.) $25/year.
what is included with my membership?
Membership includes unlimited access to the shop during its hours of operation, along with use of our extensive stationary and portable tools.
how can i pay?
We accept cash and personal check. Checks must be made payable to Parks and Rec Woodshop.
